Fri, 2009/11/20 - 8:15pm | by CSBFong Wai Ling

Wed, 2008/06/25 - 6:21pm | by CSBWhile everyone yearns for a perfect set of pearly white teeth, the gums are often neglected. Bervin Cheong discovers that a beautiful smile is not just about teeth alone.
The general idea is that every person with a beautiful smile has perfect, straight white teeth, and this misconstrued notion is widely propagated in the media and advertisements. It has come to a point where everyone is demanding a flawless set of ivories when visiting the dentist. However, what is not discernible is what matters most, it seems.
My Quest For A Hollywood Smile
Sun, 2008/06/01 - 7:39pm | by CSBFong Wai Ling shares her teeth whitening experience with us.
It was my grandmother who made me realise, at a very young age, the importance of having a good set of teeth. I can recall the first time she gave me such advice.
We were watching the evening news. I remember the anchorwoman had a pretty face and perfect salon-finished hair. But when she opened her mouth to read the news, her misaligned front teeth were an instant damper on her beauty.
A Fast Fix
Sat, 2007/09/01 - 6:55pm | by CSBImplantologist and aesthetic dentist Dr. Sim Tang Eng sheds some light on a new procedure for replacing lost teeth deemed ‘Teeth-in-an-Hour’.
Besides giving us the ability to chew our food and to speak clearly, the appearance of our teeth goes a long way in complementing our overall appearance, even enhancing it. The proud owner of a nice set of teeth would have no qualms in flashing his or her smile – giving them an air of confidence and creating a positive impression.
The Making Of My Smile
Wed, 2007/01/31 - 4:45am | by veenaVeena Sidhu talks to Dr. Sim Tang Eng, Founder President of the Malaysian Association of Aesthetic Dentistry, and one of his foreign patients, about the journey they took together to produce the perfect smile.
In this aesthetic age, most are fussed about whether their nose is too large, their jaw too square, or their chest too flat. Yet, whether many realise it or not, there is one feature that is neglected more often than not – our teeth.
But while one may not necessarily think about their teeth, the aesthetic dentistry field is growing by leaps and bounds, to the extent that our Malaysian expertise is drawing thousands of foreign visitors to local shores to get their teeth fixed.
For a much cheaper price than in their own Western countries, coupled with excellent dentistry, many foreigners are choosing to have their dental work and tropical holiday bundled into one package.
