Regrets surgery on face


I underwent buccal fat pad removal surgery a year ago in China. My face was fat, but I regret having had the procedure now. Is there anything I can do to restore my face to what it was before?

Buccal fat removal is a procedure done to alter the facial shape by removing the fat pads that augment the lower cheeks. Many patients are happy with the outcome of the procedure.

However, one fact remains – much thought must be put into considering plastic surgery before you commit yourself to a procedure.

In your case, there are procedures that can be performed to regain the facial contour that you lost as a result of your first surgery, such as fat transfer. This procedure basically involves harvesting fat from other parts of the body and reintroducing this fat to the face.
