Nose augmentation without surgery

I do not like my nose and want to have it augmented. I have been thinking of opting for augmentation with fillers, but I was wondering if this would affect my chances of a good outcome if I decide to opt for rhinoplasty later on?

Dear S.B.,
Using a filler is a good way of seeing if you like the outcome of augmentation without actually going for surgery – but please ensure that you opt for a hyaluronic acid filler, which will completely go away after several months, leaving you with your original nose once again. After this time, if you are happy with the results observed with the filler, you can then choose to have surgical augmentation for a permanent effect.

BeforeBeforeAfterAfterHaving had the filler does not make surgical augmentation any more difficult. A word of advice though – a filler is good for augmenting the bridge of the nose, but less so for the tip. Therefore, those who want a smaller nose tip cannot resort to a filler to simulate this, and will require surgery.
