Mole removal

I have a very prominent mole on my face that I would like removed. It is a protruding black mole at the corner of my eye. How do I get rid of it? Is the procedure painful? What does it involve and how much does something like this cost?

There are two ways to remove moles – it can be done either with a laser or by surgery. The choice of treatment depends on the size of the mole and your dermatologist’s preference. Surgery will leave a scar, whereas with a laser treatment, the scar might not be seen.

Before the procedure, the area is anaesthetised and therefore, you will not feel any pain when the mole is being removed. The cost varies depending on the type of procedure and the expertise of the dermatologist.
