Microdermabrasion vs. Microneedling

I would like to know what is the difference between microdermabrasion and microneedling in regard to facial scar treatment such as for acne scars, chicken pox scars and enlarged pores?

Microneedling will be uncomfortable, and will give you a downtime of less than a week. Results may be more dramatic than microdermabrasion, but unfortunately, scientific data on microneedling is scarce at the moment.

Microdermabrasion on the other hand, works better on fresh scars and has no downtime. Both will require repeat treatments for significant results.
