Forehead scar

A few years ago I had an accident with a horse and I was kicked in the face, which has left me with a very prominent scar (in a straight line) between my eyebrows. Is it possible to treat this scar and get rid of it?

Dear Y.S.G.,
It seems that you have a prominent linear scar on the glabellar (between your eyebrows) area. You can consider a fractional laser such as fractional 1550nm erbium glass laser to reduce the scar. You will normally need one session a month to treat and fade the scar, but this of course depends on the severity of your scar. For some scars, one can consider scar revision surgery by a plastic surgeon. Subcission and fillers can also be used for deep depressed scars – subcission divides the contracted scar and fillers fill depressed scars.
