Chickenpox scars

I was down with chickenpox about a month ago. It was pretty severe especially on my face and the upper part of my body. I used Neem soap and followed all traditional advice accordingly. I am left with scars from this experience – some have left shallow holes. I didn't scratch or pick any of the lesions. Will these scars ever go away or are there any dermatological treatments I can seek?

Dear A.G.,
Chicken pox usually leaves behind shallow, depressed scars. These scars can be treated with resurfacing lasers or plasma energy treatment, which is one of the most effective and advanced treatments available. With just one treatment, there can be up to 70 to 80 percent improvement in your skin. Subcision of the scars and filler injections can also help certain depressed scars.
