Breast lift after childbirth

I’m a mother of two and my body is not what it used to be. I used to be a C-cup, but now my breasts are quite deflated. I also have loose skin around my belly. I am thinking of having a breast lift and a tummy tuck. Is it possible to have these procedures done at the same time? What will this involve? Is it advisable to do so and how long will it take for me to recover from the two surgeries?
C.C.

Dear C.C.,
Yes, you can have both procedures done at the same time, and many surgeons will do this for you. I, however, prefer to divide this into two BeforeBeforeAfterAfterseparate operations, as each one takes quite long to perform. The tummy tuck alone takes about three and a half hours to complete, and the breast augmentation by the Stealth Invisible Scar technique I pioneered will take about two and a half hours – that’s almost six hours of operating and being under general anaesthesia.

Statistics have shown that complications increase as the length of surgery increases, and I will not subject my patients to any increased risks. There is nothing wrong though, with having both procedures done at the same time if your surgeon is comfortable with this.
