The scar is hard and the doctor says he can’t perform surgery on me because of this. He says that laser surgery won’t take my scar away but will make the scar worse and much bigger. About 15 years ago I had eye bag surgery to remove the fat below my eyes. The doctor said then that the problem might redevelop – and it did. My eye bags are back and this makes my eyes look rather heavy. I constantly look tired and sleepy – I also have dark circles under my eyes. I am trying to avoid surgery if possible. Is there an alternative solution? I have tried all sorts of eye lotions, serums, and creams but nothing seems to work.

I recently sought treatment for facial pigmentation from a dermatologist (I was prescribed a lotion), but I feel that my skin is worse now than it was before – more pigmentation has appeared.
I used to be fair but in the last six years (since moving to a hotter place), I feel that I have tanned considerably and am now much darker than before. Is there a way to reduce this darker look that I have developed?

I am 18 years old, and used to have clear beautiful skin. Recently, my skin has become oily and I have acne on my cheeks that are red in colour. I didn’t change my facial cleanser during this time, but I did change to another facial cleanser that was recommended by my friends, after seeing that my acne wasn’t clearing up. My skin cleared a little bit, but now I’m faced with the problem of scars, and my cheeks are always bright red. Am I using the wrong products?
